Benajah was born in 1722 in , Cape May, NJ.1 Benajah's father was Peter Corson and his mother was Rachel Garretson. His paternal grandparents were Peter Corson and Deborah Townsend. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Darius, Remington, Peter, Levi, Jesse, Zabiah, Rebecca, Rachel, Elizabeth and Deborah. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died in 1722 in , Cape May, NJ.1 -
