Hiram Casto 
Hiram was born in July 1825 in Mason Co, WV.1 Hiram's father was Daniel Taylor Casto and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Shamblin. His paternal grandparents were John Jackson Casto and Sarah Unknown. He had two brothers and nine sisters, named Mason Jeptha, George Washington, Martha, Sarah Jane, Nancy E, Mary Elizabeth, Permelia Amelia, Elizabeth, Lydia Margaret, Hannah and Harriet. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children.-
