Sally was born in 1786 in Scotland, Windham, CT.1 Sally's father was James Cary and her mother was Abigail Kingsley. Her paternal grandparents were Benajah Cary and Deborah Perkins. She had three brothers and two sisters, named James, Benajah, Sanford, Abigail and Anna. She was the youngest of the six children.-
