Joseph Cary 
Joseph was born in 1736 in Providence, RI.1 Joseph's father was Benjamin Cary and his mother was Thankful Taylor. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Cary and Susanna Kent. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, Nathaniel, Ebenezer, George, Thankful, Abigail and Susan. He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
