Benjamin was born in 1706 in , Bristol, MA.1 Benjamin's father was Benjamin Cary and his mother was Susanna Kent. His paternal grandparents were John Cary and Abigail Penniman; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Kent and Susanna George. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Allen, Nathaniel, John, Bethia, Abigail, Elizabeth, Mehitabel, Lydia and Susanna. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died in Plainfield, windham, CT.1 -
