Allen Cary 
Allen was born in 1708.1 Allen's father was Benjamin Cary and his mother was Susanna Kent. His paternal grandparents were John Cary and Abigail Penniman; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Kent and Susanna George. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Benjamin, Nathaniel, John, Bethia, Abigail, Elizabeth, Mehitabel, Lydia and Susanna. He was the second oldest of the ten children.-
