John Cary 
John was born in 1734 in Providence, RI.1 John's father was Benjamin Cary and his mother was Thankful Taylor. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Cary and Susanna Kent. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, Nathaniel, Ebenezer, George, Thankful, Abigail and Susan. He was the oldest of the nine children.-
