Comfort Cary 
Comfort was born in 1766 in , Dutchess, NY.1 Comfort's father was Eleazer Cary and his mother was Charity Sturdevant. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Cary and Mary Poole. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Samuel, Benjamin and Mehitabel. He was the youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Nathan and Bettie. He died at the age of 72 in 1838 in Ashley, Luzerne, PA.1 -
