Abram Leonard was born in 1861 in Mountain, Dundas, Ontario, Canada. Abram Leonard's father was Hugh Beggs and his mother was Mary Robinson. His paternal grandparents were Robert Beggs and Sarah Whiteford. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Thomas J, Richard, Robert, George Crawford, William John, James Oscar, Margaret, Sara Ann and Matilda J. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 53 in 1914 in Ellendale, Dickey, ND.-
