C. Albert Frick

Little Mountain - Services for C. Albert Frick, 70, will be held at 5
p.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Fred Suhr
officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will
be at the residence, 549 Mountain Ave., and will receive friends
3:30-5:30 p.m. today at teh Whitaker Funeral Home, Chapin. Memorials may
be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 225, Little Mountain,
SC 29075, or the American Heart Association, c/o Myra Addy, 2230 Glenn
Street, Newberry, SC 29108

Mr. Frick died Friday, April 28, 2000, at his residence. Born in Little
Mountain, he was a son of the late C. Abner and Mary Agnes Riddle Frick.
He was former owner of Frick's Exxon in Little Mountain. Mr. Frick was a
life member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, a member of Little Mountain
Masonic Lodge #281, and the Little Mountain O.E.S. chapter #276. He was
former Mayor of Little Mountain, a former member of the Congregational
Council, the Evangelism and Building Committees, and former treasurer of
the Property committee. He taught Sunday School for 25 years.

Surviving are his wife, Carolina Shealy Frick of the home; a daughter and
son-in-law, Teresa F. and Tony Portwood of Chapin; two sons and
daughters-in-law, Charles and Cindy Frick, and John and Connie Frick,
both of Little Mountain; sister, Joyce Frick Arnold of Little Mountain;
grandchildren, Amanda Frick Gaffney, Angela Frick, Carrie Frick, Charles
Everett Frick, Adam David Frick, Andrew C. Frick, tony Portwood. He was
preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Frick Lake.
