Nellie Rae Rauch
Chapin - Services for Nellie Rae BolandRauch, 83, of Chapin, will be held
at 4 p.m. Monday, July 27, 1998, at St. Peters Lutheran Church, with
burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 tonight at
Caughman-Harman Funeral Homes, Chapin Chapel. At other times, the family
will receive friends at the home of Joe and Jean Ann Rauch, 1312 St.
Peters Church Road, Chapin. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's
Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Rauch died Saturday, July 25, 1998. Born in Newberry County, she
was a daughter of hte late Jesse Irvin and Eunice Mae Boland, and was
widow of Oscar Lee Rauch. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran
Church.
Surviving are daughters, Barbara Sue Graham of Pomaria, Janis Bedenbaugh
of Cherryville, N.C., Sandra White and Lee Rae Arnold, both of Lexington,
Mary NellCromer of Chapin; sons, Jimmy Dale Rauch of Columbia, Joe Rauch,
Charlie Rauch and Karl Rauch, all of Chapin; brothers, Waldo Boland of
Newberry, George Boland of Chapin; sisters, Frances Bickley of Lexington,
Christine Huffstetler of Cayce, Ruby Bedenbaugh of Prosperity, Carolyn
Bickley and Ailene Shealy, both of West Columbia; 23 grandchildren; and
24 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Rauch was preceded in death by brothers,
Monroe Boland and J.I. Boland.
