Mrs. Cora Kaiser

Mrs. Cora Ballentine Kaiser, 89, of Lexington, widow of J. Ed kaiser,
died Sunday at the Lowman Home.

She was born in Lexington County, a daughter of hte late Silas Jesse and
Mary Jane Long Ballentine. She was active in church work and was a
member of the LCW for 37 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Al (Julia) Gardener of Columbia nd Mrs.
Harvey J. (Mertie) Harmon of Lexington; four sons, Horace M. and John L.
Kaiser of Columbia, Bernard C. Kaiser of Atlanta, Ga. and J.E. Kaiser of
Lexington; a sister, Mrs. G.H.C. Park of White Rock; two brothers, G.
Hebert Ballentine of Columbia and Jesse Ballentine of Walterboro; 17
grandchildren and two great-great-grand-
children.

Services will be 6 p.m. today in St. Stephens Lutheran Church conducted
by Dr. Milton Frick and Dr. Kenneth E. Webb, with burial in St. John's
Lutheran Church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James W. Gordon, Thomas A. Gardener, Jimmie Kaiser,
David Kaiser, Paul Harmon and Dan Harmon.

The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to the Lowman
Home.

Caughman-Harmon Funeral Home is in charge.
