Narrative
[fountain.FTW]
The information on the Cherry's was done by Mattie Cole Stanfield of Rt. 3, Boaz or Booz, Ala 35957. Apparantely the places of birth as listed on the work sheet, given as S.C. are wrong, for the two were married in Monroe Co., Ga. in 1824.
The Cherry's also enter into the family with the Cannon's for Henry Cannon after the death of his first wife Mary Irvine ( Ervin) married
Susannah Williams McTyer Cherry and became Susannah Williams McTyer Cherry Cannon. Her husband was George Cherry and she must have been married to him before or during the Revolution for Henry fought in the Revolution and came home to Mary Ervin after the war and she died after that.
