Robert the Old, Duke of Burgundy

Robert I 'le Vieux' de Bourgogne married Helie de Semur-en-Brion nais about 1033 but divorced and in fact 'disowned' her in 1046 . Helie was mother of all his legitimate children before the bir th of Hildegarde. Robert I 'le Vieux' de Bourgogne married Ermen garde about 1048, and their daughter Hildegarde was born about 1 050.

Europaische Stammtafeln, ii, 20 lists Robert's second wife, Eme ngarde of Anjou, widow of Geoffrey II Ferreol of Gatinais and d aughter of Fulk III "Nerra" of Anjou, as the mother of Hildegard e. According to ES Robert married Helie abt 1033 and disowne d her in 1046. Robert married secondly about 1048 Ermengarde o f Anjou. Hildegarde was born probably in 1050.
