Countess of Mortagne and Boulogne [Ref: Paget p13]
Abbess of Romsey in Hampshire until 1160, when she was forcibly abducted from
the convent and married by Matthew of Alsace. She separated fro her husband
and resumed a conventual life in 1169 at St. Austrebert, near Montreuil,
France, where she once more took the veil as a nun. [Ref: Redlich p56]
