Beatrix was born about 1223 in Savoie, France.1 Beatrix's father was Amadeus IV de Savoie Ct of Savoy and her mother was Anne (Marguerite) de Bourgogne. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas de Maurienne Viceroy of Lombardy and Margaret de Genevre; her maternal grandparents were Hugh III de Burgundy Duke of Burgundy and Beatrix de Viennois Dauphinee de Viennois. She was an only child. She died in 1259.1 -
