Bleddyn ap Cynfyn 
Bleddyn was born about 1025 in of Montgomeryshire, Wales.1 Bleddyn's father was Cynfyn ap Gwerystan and his mother was Angharad verch Maredudd Queen of Powys. His paternal grandparents were Gwerystan ap Gwaethfoed and Nesta verch Cadell; his maternal grandfather was Maredudd ap Owain Prince of Deheubarth. He had a brother and two sisters, named Rhiwallon, Iwerydd verch Cynfyn and daughter. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother named Gruffydd ap Llywelyn. He died in 1075 in Powys Castle.1 General Notes
