Carletta Pearl was born on March 7th, 1898 in In or Near Chapin, South Carolina.1 Carletta Pearl's father was John W.A. Summers and her mother was Cummings Ada Shealy. Her maternal grandparents were Andrew Shealy and Mary Caroline Sease. She had two brothers and a sister, named Everette Rivers, Huss and Lausie. She died at the age of 38 on November 11th, 1936. She was buried in St. Jacobs Lutheran Cemetery, Chapin, South Carolina.1 1 -
