Susan Frances (Fannie) was born on October 1st, 1844 in Georgia.1 Susan Frances (Fannie)'s father was John Adam Summer and her mother was Mariah Martin. Her paternal grandparents were Henry (Henry Jr.) Summer and Mary Magdalene Counts. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named Henry T., John Christian, William Harrison, Reuben, Martha A. (Mattie), Mary E. (Mollie), Elvira J. (Ella), Lucretia C. (Lou), Eliza, Sarah Catherine (Kate), Josephine (Jo) and Rebecca Estelle. She was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 59 on January 5th, 1904. She was buried in Mt. Gilead Baptist Cemetery, Coweta Co, Georgia.1 1 -
