Elias E. was born on December 17th, 1815 in Newberry County, SC.1 Elias E.'s father was Henry (Henry Jr.) Summer and his mother was Mary Magdalene Counts. His paternal grandparents were William Summer and Eva Margaretha Sease\Suss. He had two brothers named John Adam and John Nelson. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 77 on June 17th, 1893 in Coweta County, Georgia. He was buried in Emory Chapel Meth, Coweta County, Georgia.1 1 -
