Adam Luther Summer 
Adam Luther was born on September 2nd, 1840.1 Adam Luther's father was George Michael Summer and his mother was Marry (Polly) Chapman. His paternal grandparents were William Summer and Catherine Elizabeth Fulmer; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Chapman and Catherine Anderson. He had two brothers and a sister, named Willie, George Michael and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Robert Pinckney and Mary Elizabeth. He died at the age of 57 on February 10th, 1898. He was buried in St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery, Pomaria, South Carolina.1 1 -
