Hazel Stoudemire 
Hazel was born on October 2nd, 1890 in Newberry County, SC.1 Hazel's father was Charles Wesley Stoudemire and her mother was Alice L. (Sallie) Fulmer. Her maternal grandparents were John Adam Fulmer and Margaret Eve Summer. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Joseph N. (Bud), Lonnie O., Mattie Elizabeth, Georgia, Kate F. and Mary Annie. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 85 on December 28th, 1975 in Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina. She was buried in St. Jacob's Lutheran Cemetery, Chapin, South Carolina.1 1 General Notes

Mrs. Hazel S. Amick
Mrs. Hazel Stoudemire Amick, 85, of Chapin and widow of Walter E. Amick,
died Sunday in a Columbia hospital.
Born in Newberry County, she was a daughter of teh late Charlie and Alice
Fulmer Stoudemire.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. C.E. (Sallie) Huffstetler of Columbia; two
sons, Charlie Wilbur and Harry E. Amick of Chapin; a sister, Mrs. Loy
Matthews of Little Mountain; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in the St. Jacobs Lutheran Church,
conducted by the Rev. John Wessinger.
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel, is in charge.
