Jacob Abnet Shealy 
Jacob Abnet was born on April 19th, 1861 in Near Chapin, South Carolina.1 Jacob Abnet's father was Joshua Shealy and his mother was Mary Ann "Martha" Ballentine. His paternal grandparents were John Ventle Shealy and Eva Margaret Sease. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William Pickens, Henry Luther, Mary Jane, Emiline Lenora, Catherine and Frances Cummins. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 57 on August 29th, 1918 in Nr Chapin, South Carolina.1 -
