John Shaw 
John was born about 1859 in Arkansas.1 John's father was David Alexander Shaw and his mother was Sarah A. Kinard. His maternal grandparents were Graham Kinard and Eve Sease. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert C., Lou, Mary, Martha Jane and Melisia. He was the second youngest of the six children.-
