Adriann Adora was born on August 24th, 1862.1 Adriann Adora's father was Elias Starling Sease and her mother was Ella Jane Lewis. Her paternal grandparents were John Frederick Sease and Elizabeth Bickley. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Cephas (Jocephes?), James Luther, Henry Sebastian, Talton Sim, Oliver Lafayette, George Rufus, Killain Alma, Boyd Dent, Laura Angelina, Almenia Annette, Nancy Elvira and Elizabeth Malenda (Lillie). She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children.-
