Her maternal grandparents were John Adam Riddle and Leila Agnes Long. She was an only child. She died on April 29th, 2000 in Little Mountain, South Carolina. Willie Mae Richardson
Newberry -- Services for Willie Mae Rish Richardson, 82, will be held at
2 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the
church cemetery. The family is at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Dick
Richardson, 4005 Wheeland Road, Little Mountain, and will receive friends
at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home 5-6 this afternoon. The family
suggests that those desiring may make memorials to Palmetto Hospice, P.O.
Box 7275, Columbia, SC 29202. McSwain-
Evans Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Richardson, of 1186 Jolly Street Road, Newberry, died Saturday at
the residence of her son. Born in Little Mountain, Mrs. Richardson was a
daughter of Willie Pickens and Trany Bell Riddle Rish. She was a retired
employee of Newberry Mills and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, Fred K. Richardson of Newberry; son, David
"Dick" Richardson and his wife Doris of Little Mountain; a number of
grandchildren and great-grandchldren. Mrs. Richardson was predeceased by
a son, Willie Harvey Richardson.
