William Andrew Riser 
William Andrew's father was Martin Riser and his mother was Mahala Cannon. His paternal grandparents were Martin Riser and Christina Sease. He had two brothers and a sister, named David Martin, John Thomas and Nancy Elizabeth. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Robert E., Sarah C., Ann Frances, Lavinia K. and Martha Jane.-
