John Walter Lindler 
John Walter was born on August 16th, 1876.1 John Walter's father was George Milledge Lindler and his mother was Alice Iodora Minnick. His maternal grandparents were John Minnick and Elizabeth Summer. He had a brother and eight sisters, named Willie Haskel, Lola Ethel, Mary Anna Rebecca, Mattie Eve, Jessie Amelia, Arlee, Elizabeth Magdalene, Alice Mildred and Olive Janette. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 74 on December 22nd, 1950. He was buried in Lindler/Bouknight Cemetery, Ballentine, South Carolina.1 1 -
