Venderbilt Koon 
Venderbilt was born in April 1889.1 Venderbilt's father was James H. Koon and his mother was Mary J. Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Absalom Koon and Lavinia A. Taylor. He had five brothers named George W., Marilus, Benjamin M., Julius and James J.. He was the youngest of the six children.-
