Meredith Luther Hawkins 
Meredith Luther was born on October 28th, 1869.1 Meredith Luther's father was Pearson Meshak Hawkins and his mother was Lucinda Frances Schumpert. His maternal grandparents were John Schumpert and Eliza Kibler. He had four brothers named John Pressley, Bloomer Pearson, Dudley Hunter and Mark Schumpert (Toad). He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 83 on October 31st, 1952. He was buried in St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery, Prosperity, South Carolina.1 1 -
