James Newton Hawkins 
James Newton was born on July 11th, 1907.1 James Newton's father was Meredith Luther Hawkins and his mother was Hattie Adella (Della) Boozer. His paternal grandparents were Pearson Meshak Hawkins and Lucinda Frances Schumpert. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Child, Child, Wesley, William O., Maggie E., Daughter, Annie Myrtle, Lula and Mary Elizabeth. He died at 4 months old on November 26th, 1907. He was buried in St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery, Prosperity, South Carolina.1 1 -
