Floyd Hamiter 
Floyd was born on August 14th, 1907 in Near Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 Floyd's father was John Adam Hamiter and his mother was Minnie Ada Comalander. His maternal grandparents were John Henry Comalander and Laura Anne Marilla (Susannah) Shealy. He had four brothers named Harry Alvin, George Herman, Francis Elbert and Lloyd. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at 11 months old on August 1st, 1908 in Near Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina. He was buried on August 3rd, 1908 in Mt.
