Ordolf was born about 1020.1 Ordolf's father was Bernard II Duke Of Saxony and his mother was Elicia Of Schweinfurt. His paternal grandparents were Bernard I Duke Of Saxony and Hildegard Of Stade; his maternal grandparents were Henrich Margrave Of Schweinfurt and Gerberga Of Gleiberg. He had two sisters named Gertrude and Ida. He was the oldest of the three children. He died on March 28th, 1072.1 General Notes
