Gertrude of Saxony 
Gertrude was born about 1030.1 Gertrude's father was Bernard II of Saxony and her mother was Elica von Schweinfurt. Her maternal grandparents were Heinrich von Schweinfurt and Gerberga of Henneberg. She had a brother and a sister, named Ordulf and Ida. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died on August 4th, 1113.1 General Notes
