Alma Noreen Dawson 
Alma Noreen was born on December 27th, 1895 in Durango, Colorado.1 Alma Noreen's father was Charles Sumner Dawson and her mother was Inez Katura Towse. Her paternal grandparents were Ruel Reed Dawson and Salina Reed. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Chester W "Chet", Charles Sumner, Cecil, Jannie and Lois. She died at the age of 87 on January 8th, 1983 in Whittier, Calif.1 General Notes

member of the first Library Board of Directors.
Served as County Superintendent of schools.
Served on the committee made up of Methodists and Union Church
members to organize and open a church in what was the Presbyterian
Church. There weren't enough people to have two congregations, and they
decided to join as one, and buy the Pres. one that was being sold.
