Humbert III was born on August 4th, 1136 in Aveillant.1 Humbert III's father was Amadeus III Count Of Savoy, Marquess Of Turin and his mother was Matilda Of Grenoble. His paternal grandparents were Humbert II Count Of Maurienne And Savoy and Gisele Of Burgundy; his maternal grandparents were Guigues VIII Count Of Grenoble And Albon and Matilda. He had a sister named Maud. He was the younger of the two children. He died in Cypress.1 General Notes
