His paternal grandparents were Adalbert Marquess Of Ivrea and Gerberga Countess Of Nevers; his maternal grandparents were Renaud of Roucy and Alberade of Lorraine. He had three sisters named Matilda, Gerberga and Agnes. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Renaud I, Beatrix, (Unk Dau), (Unk Dau) and Agnes.General Notes
