Linda was born about 1938 in Chapin, SC.1 Linda's father was Dewey F. Boland and her mother was Drucilla Lindler. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Frandlin Boland and Ella Viola Long. She had a brother and two sisters, named Living, Living and Living. She died on September 29th, 1999. She was buried on October 1st, 1999 in Mt. Linda Johnston
Chapin - Services for Linda B. Johnston, 61, will be held at 11 a.m.
Friday, October 1, 1999 at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church, with burial in the
church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel. Memorials may be made to
Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church Building Fund, the American Diabetes
Association, and American Heart Association.
Mrs. Johnson died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1999. Born in Chapin, she was a
daughter of Drucilla Lindler Boland the the late Dewey F. Boland. She
was a member of Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church, homemaker, and retired
inspection Supervisor with Weisz Graphics.
Surviving are her husband, James (Jim) Johnston; mother, Drucilla Lindler
Boland; mother-in-law, Evelyn W. Johnston; sons and daughter-in-law,
Davis P. and Marie Jefferies Jr., Rev. Harold F. Jefferies, James W.
Johnston II; daughter, Flora Ann Jefferies; sisters and brother-in-law,
Rosalyn Cumalander, Jane and Don Ramsey; brother and sister-in-law, Kim
and Susan Boland; sisters-in-law, Barbara Devore, Betty Johnston;
brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Fred and Derlie Johnston;
granddaughters, Clara and Hannah Jefferies, Melinda, Leanna and Britney
Krantz; grandson, Benjamin Krantz; several nieces and nephews.
