John Edward was born on February 19th, 1940 in Newberry County, SC.1 John Edward's father was Bounce Edward Boland and his mother was Lizzie Alma Lindler. His paternal grandparents were Patrick Boland and Claton Alice Bowers; his maternal grandfather was John Noah Lindler. He had two sisters named Living and Living. He died due to Cancer at the age of 58 on July 18th, 1998 in Little Mountain, South Carolina.1 General Notes

John Boland
Little Mountain - Services for John Edward Boland, 58, of Little
Mountain, will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, July 20, 1998, at Mount Tabor
Lutheran Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be
from 7-9 tonight at Caughman-Harman Funeral Homes, Chapin Chapel.
Memorials may be made to The Lutheran Hospice.
Mr. Boland died Friday, July 17, 1998. Born in Newberry County, he was a
son of the late Bounce E. and Alma Lindler Boland. He was a member of
Mount Tabor Lutheran Church and was retired from Allied Signal.
Surviving are wife, Bobbie Sheppard Boland; daughter, Michelle Boland
Shealy of Newberry; son, William Edward Boland of Little Mountain;
sister, Leonora Moore of Prosperity; step-daughters, Teresa Ann Barnes,
Karen Eargle, Ruth Renee Amick and Donna Padgett, all of leesville;
stepson, Randall Amick of Leesville; and eight step-grandchildren.
