Jacob was born about 1850 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 Jacob's father was Ephriam Walter Boland and his mother was Susan Bowers. His paternal grandparents were Abram Boland and Eva Christina Sease. He had ten brothers and two sisters, named Lorin T., Lorin T., Son, Son, Walter, Cedelle Edward, Marion, Jefferson Davis, William, William, Anna Catherine and Amanda. He died in Big Creek, Calhoun County, Mississippi.1 -
