H. Eugene was born in 1922 in Newberry, SC.1 H. Eugene's father was Irvin B. Boland and his mother was Euna Morris. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Calhoun Boland and Christina Catherine Caroline Metts. He had a sister named Alda Rae. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Eugene and Doris. He died at the age of 73 on September 5th, 1995.1 General Notes

H. Eugene Boland
Prosperity - Services for H. Eugene Boland, 73, of 1467 Ira Kinard Road
will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation
will be from 7 to 8 tonight at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials
may be made to Palmetto Hospice of Columbia.
Mr. Boland died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 1995. Born in Newberry, he was a son
of hte late Irvin Boland and Euna Morris Boland Mize. He was a World War
II veteran and retired from Kendall Co. He was a member of Bethany
Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, Marion McCormack Boland; a son, Thomas Boland of
Melbourne, Fla.; a daughter, Bonnie Lane of Powder Springs, Ga.' a
stepson, Thomas Woolford of Prosperity; stepdaughters, Judy Meler of
Mission Viejo, Calif., and Karen Crouch of Atascadero, Calif.; a sister,
Alda Rae Hendrix of Lexington; grandchildren; great-grandchildren;
stepgrandchildren; and stepgreat-grandchildren.
