‌William Pumphrey and Lucinda were married in a religious ceremony on December 27th, 1815 in Fluvanna Co., VA.  They had five sons and four daughters, named William Pumphrey, John Newton, Robert Pollard, Peyton Pollard, George Washington, Lewis Brown, Mary K., Elizabeth and Sallie Ann.
