Edward I Longshanks and Eleanor of Castile were married in a religious ceremony on October 18th, 1254 in Abbey of Las Huelgas, Burgos, Castile, Spain.  They had four sons and twelve daughters, named John, Henry, Alfonso, Edward II of England, Eleanor, Joan, Julian (Katherine), Joan of Acre, Margaret, Berengaria, Elizabeth (Isabel), Beatrice, Blanche, Mary, Isabella and Alice.
