John 
John was born on July 10th, 1266. John's father was Edward I Longshanks and his mother was Eleanor of Castile. His paternal grandparents were Henry III and Eleanor Berenger; his maternal grandparents were Ferdinand III of Castile and Johanna of Ponthieu. He had three brothers and twelve sisters, named Henry, Alfonso, Edward II of England, Eleanor, Joan, Julian (Katherine), Joan of Acre, Margaret, Berengaria, Elizabeth (Isabel), Beatrice, Blanche, Mary, Isabella and Alice. He had two half-brothers named Thomas and Edmund of Woodstock.-
