John David Williams 
John David was born in November 1807 in Nottoway Co., Virginia. John David's father was David Greenhill Williams and his mother was Mary Epes Poythress Doswell. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Roper Williams and Catherine Greenhill; his maternal grandparents were John Doswell and Mary Elizabeth Poythress Epes. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Roper, Dandridge C., Fayette Claiborne, Peter E., Virginius R., Emily Greenhill, Arianna, Virginia F. and Mary C.. He died at the age of 32 on June 21st, 1840 in Nottoway Co., Virginia.-
