Martha Reade Throckmorton 
Martha Reade was born on February 25th, 1781 in Frederick Co., Virginia. Martha Reade's father was Thomas Reade Throckmorton and her mother was Mary Throckmorton. Her paternal grandparents were Mordecai Throckmorton and Mary Reade; her maternal grandparents were Robert Throckmorton and Mary Lewis. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Thomas, Mordecai, John, Ann and Ariss. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 21 in September 1802.-
