John Throckmorton 
John was born on March 19th, 1779 in Frederick Co., Virginia. John's father was Thomas Reade Throckmorton and his mother was Mary Throckmorton. His paternal grandparents were Mordecai Throckmorton and Mary Reade; his maternal grandparents were Robert Throckmorton and Mary Lewis. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Thomas, Mordecai, Ann, Martha Reade and Ariss. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 86 on November 6th, 1865 in Bourbon Co., Kentucky.-
