Ariss Throckmorton 
Ariss was born on February 5th, 1789 in Frederick Co., Virginia. Ariss' father was Thomas Reade Throckmorton and her mother was Mary Throckmorton. Her paternal grandparents were Mordecai Throckmorton and Mary Reade; her maternal grandparents were Robert Throckmorton and Mary Lewis. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Thomas, Mordecai, John, Ann and Martha Reade. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 79 on December 25th, 1868.-
