William Tabb 
William was born about 1724. William's father was John Tabb and his mother was Mary Sclater. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Tabb and Mary Heyward; his maternal grandparents were James Sclater and Mary ?. He had a brother and eight sisters, named Thomas, Elizabeth, Rachel, Jolena, Joanna, Sarah, Diana, Martha and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.-
