John Tabb 
John was born about 1700 in New Poquoson Parish, Elizabeth City Co., VA. John's father was Thomas Tabb and his mother was Mary Heyward. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Tabb and Martha Moore. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Henry, Mary, Diana and Rachel. He was the oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Edward and Martha. He died on March 2nd, 1762 in Elizabeth City Co., VA.-
